This outstanding dog has been very promising since he first started in the show ring, as a young pup he won baby puppy, minor and puppies in group. At present Maryheather Drum Boy is our main show dog and has won Best of Breed at the 2006 Royal Melbourne show and placed 4th in the working dog group as well as Best of Breed again at the 2007 Royal Melbourne Show and again picked in the top eight working dogs. Since the royals Maryheather Drum Boy has scored himself Best Exhibit and Runner-up in group 5 and numerous best of breeds and challege dog awards. Maryheather Drum Boy is a very square dog with good balance and movement, with an old style appearance and strong head he is a good worker and is proving as a stud dog- check out Maryheather Blue River, his very promising daughter. CH Maryheather Drum Boy, like all Maryheather dogs has a gentle, placid nature and has been handled in child handlers. You can see CH Maryheather Drum Boy at most of our local shows in north-east Victoria. As Maryheather Kennels own a dairy farm CH Maryheather Drum Boy's full showing protential is not fully met as we are limited to the amount of dog shows we can get to. However when Maryheather Drum Boy does make it to a dog show his presence is certaintly felt.
